The July heat mixed with the humidity has been quite stifling, especially the last couple of weeks. Across the country, there have been exceedingly high temperatures, making it risky for those who work outside. Hats off to our faithful mailman who continues to deliver mail in adverse conditions! However, a "cold" front from Canada has moved in, cooling things off a little. That hopefully means an end to heat indexes in the 105 plus range.
