Whose waves wash up our banks,
Marks the edge of our city.
The riverboats, barges, and small craft
Wind up and down the river.
A peaceful scene this is-
The blue sky, shining sun, green grass,
Cotton-like clouds and people walking
To and fro, combine for a somewhat
Tranquil yet energetic setting.
